Some Insects Evoke Fear in Me, Some Insects Cause Me to Feel Revulsion. Some Insect Make Me Smile, Some Insects Inspire Me to Reach Out and Touch.
And Then There are Those Insects to Whose Sting I Am Dangerously Allergic!
All that is true in my reality and in the relationship between my world and the world of insects. When it comes to costumes, however, I love insects and I simply cannot get enough of them. As a matter of fact, my favorite types of costumes are those which depict bumble bee, honey bees, and all kinds of other bees.
As I have done in past Halloweens, this Halloween will again be a bee costumes holiday for all of us; my husband, my son, my daughter and, of course myself. Won’t you join us and also put on a fun bee costume of your own?

This little bumble bee is as sweeter as honey.

This is the sweetest and most harmless been I have ever seen. Don’t you agree?
Usually characterized by the very soft black and yellow hair which covers their entire bodies, bumblebees which are also correctly known as bumble bees are also found with orange, red or entirely black colorings. The closest relatives to bumble bees are honey bees and both types of bees feed on nectar they gather from flowers and they also collect pollen with their hairy legs for feeding their young ones.
So, this Halloween, why not dress up in a fun bee costume but do try to refrain from stinging anyone!
